Warren Park Baseball
Warren Park Youth Baseball is a Little League program in Chicago where my son played from 2018 (when he was 9) through 2025, his final season before aging out. Over the years, we've been part of this welcoming, inclusive baseball community, and I've had the privilege of designing the visual identity that now represents the league across the city.

Project Brief: Create a refreshed logo for Warren Park's Little League program that honors Chicago pride and the league's history, plus a complementary identity for their competitive travel team.
Solution: Main league logo incorporating elements from the Chicago flag, Little League branding, and Warren Park's legacy design. Travel team logo built around the Chicago flag's iconic stars with vintage baseball styling. Both logos applied across jerseys, pennants, car magnets, and digital/print marketing materials.
Personal Connection: My son played in the Warren Park league from 2018-2025, making this project a meaningful way to give back to a community that was a huge part of our family's life for six years.

The main Warren Park Baseball logo was a special project for me. It needed to honor the league's history while giving them something fresh and Chicago-proud. I designed it to nod to three things: the Chicago flag, the Little League logo, and Warren Park's previous branding. The result is a logo that feels rooted in the city and the league's legacy while still feeling new and energized.
The logo now lives everywhere. It's on emails, flyers, the website, social media, pennants, and car magnets that I see all over Chicago. Friends spot them and send me photos. There's a banner with the logo hanging in my office. It's one of those designs that has become part of the community in a way that still makes me proud.
Beyond the main logo, I also designed the identity for Warren Park's travel team, the All Stars. The travel team needed something that felt connected to the main league but had its own energy, something that could stand on its own on uniforms and gear. I built it around the Chicago flag's iconic stars and gave it a vintage, classic baseball feel with a modern edge. The logo is carried through to the jerseys, which feature the design on the front with player names and numbers on the back, plus a sleeve detail with the Chicago flag.
After six years as part of this league, designing these logos felt like giving back to a community that gave us so much. Even though my son has aged out, I still see the magnets on cars around the city and smile every time.
